Saying goodbye to my home town

This will be my last post for a while. I'm moving out of my flat tomorrow, there's only a little bit of packing and lots of cleaning to do. Then I'm off to Switzerland without my laptop for almost 3 weeks. We'll spend a weekend with two of my best friends in Zurich and then go hiking in Graub√ľnden and Ticino to get some fresh air before moving to London :-). I've already set up an appointment with HSBC Baker Street to open up a bank account in the UK, so all we need to do once we're there is to find a small studio for us. But now it's time to say good bye...

Good bye, Hamburg harbour!

Good bye, Elbe beach!

Good bye Speicherstadt, the biggest warehouse space for Persian carpets in the world!

Bye bye, my lovely nephews!

Good bye, 70 sqm flat!

Bye bye, Hamburg...

Congratulations again. Rest up, eat up, and enjoy. I am certain London will have plenty of adventures for you to blog about.

Just curious - what consulting company did you work for?

You often speak at first person of the plural.: "we just need to find a studio for us". With whoom are you?

Juste, I'm with my husband, it's mentioned in a lot of the earlier posts so I don't repeat it in every post.

Yes, sorry. I've just read it in the archived posts.
Has anyone here thought of doing an MBA with spouse/significant other?

Do you know that your blog requires a blogger id to post a comment?

Juste, I know at least one couple in LBS class of 2008 who are both doing the MBA and I have another friend who did the HBS MBA with his girlfriend. It happens. But the more common occurrence is probably that couples are formed during the MBA! :-)

I had to introduce restrictions to comments after my blog was flooded with advertising spam over the last two weeks, unfortunately I had to graduately restrict it. I don't want to spend an hour per week "cleaning" my blog and unfortunately that's what I had to do last week...
