No drinks for me!

The timing couldn't have been better: 6 days before the admits weekend, I caught a bad tonsilitis! So I have been in bed since Saturday. Yesterday I went to the doctor and since then I've been taking antibiotics. I have to take penicillin for the next 10 days and won't be able to drink any alcohol.

The good part is that I got to stay at home for two days longer and will only fly back to work tomorrow. Luckily I should also be fit enough on Friday to join the admits dinner and enjoy the rest of the weekend in London. The bad part is that I won't be able to drink alcohol which might reduce the fun a little bit at the dinner and the party on Saturday (especially as there are free drinks!).

I still look very much forward to the admits weekend and I'm sure I'll have enough fun just meeting lots of people. I just hope I will be well again by Friday.

Hi Angie, here is Carlo From Italy, just admitted in R3!
Sorry for your no alchool weekend, but don't worry, I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities to catch up during the MBA.
Your blog is really nice, I am a managing consultant as well and I really see myself in the things you write.
See you this weekend!

Awwww.... that's too bad to hear! I hope you get well real soon!!

But at least you're attending the Admits Weekend. Please blog about it as I won't be able to go :( I'm sure it'll be just as fun, even without the alcohol. ;) Enjoy!!!

Hi Angie

It was really good to meet you at the admits weekend. Like I said - having read your blog for a few weeks, it felt like I was meeting a celebrity :-)

Anyway, look forward to seeing you again once the course begins.

This blog is really good - well done
